LICENCE
AND WHO DELIVERS THE TRAINING

After successfully passing the exam, you receive the national Offshore Sailing Skipper Diploma (Offshore Sailing Licence) — a certified national Greek yacht licence in the form of a plastic card, confirming theoretical and practical training in sailing yacht handling. Recognition of the licence depends on the rules of the country and the requirements of the charter company — we will help you choose the appropriate format and document package for your purpose.

Can I charter a boat after this course?

In many cases — yes, but it always depends on the charter company’s requirements and the region. We can help you clarify these conditions in advance for your case.

HOW THE TRAINING IS STRUCTURED

If the weather doesn’t allow going to sea, the focus is on theory, navigation tasks and decision-making scenarios. When weather permits — maximum practice on the water.

Duration: 7 days

Training materials are provided in advance - the
theoretical part is based on them

Practice on a yacht - every day

Intensity: about 6 hours per day (theory + practice)

No. The program is designed for beginners and for those who want a structured foundation.

WHAT IF I DON’T SPEAK ENGLISH?

The main training language is English.
Upon request, a Russian-speaking instructor may be available (depending on location and dates).

HOW LONG IS EACH DAY?

About 6 hours per day (theory + practice), depending on weather and the daily plan.
